Colombia's Congress are now permitted to bring their pets to work.

   In a first for the world, members of Colombia's Congress are now permitted to bring their pets to w  ork. For one senator, wild horses couldn't have kept him from celebrating the implementation of the new rule.

According to news reports from across the world, Alirio Barrera arrived at work on his white horse on Tuesday.

In order to convey the value of horses to the Colombian countryside, he first rode through the nation's capital, Bogota, before mounting his horse and entering the chambers of Congress.

It serves as a monument to farmers, both men and women, and horse-dancing herdsmen. To everyone who works in the fields," he addressed the media.
